Health Camps

Around 652 patients received treatment, consultation, and medicine at a free two-day medical camp, organized by KarmaFlights in collaboration with the UK based NEPAL-ease charity and the Lions Club of Pokhara Skytown. Doctor Mohan Bk and his dedicated medical team provided treatment whilst Clare Shelly and other specialists from NEPAL-ease trained local health workers on palliative care and wound care. Many thanks to NEPAL-ease, Lions Club of Pokhara Skytown, and Atlas Travels UK for making this project a grand success!

Here at Karmaflights, we are committed to supporting the complex health and educational needs of rural communities.  Following the success of the first medical camp, we conducted a second medical camp in April 2018 on the 3rd anniversary of the Nepal Earthquake. The second camp took place in Gorkha and was once again a resounding success.

To mark the 3rd anniversary of the 2015 Nepal Earthquake, Karma Flights held a comprehensive health camp to provide care and medicine to over 600 people in Gorkha, western Nepal. Many of our patients were earthquake survivors and, despite the time that has passed, are still very much recovering. They remain in our hearts and minds as we work towards creating a brighter future for Nepal. There are many more camps to come! Thank you to all the wonderful human beings that make projects like this possible! We now look forward to our next medical camp, which is scheduled to run from the 30th March- 2nd April 2019. KarmaFlights will run the camp with support from Gone Far Beyond to continue promoting health in rural communities and focus on health issues that were identified in the previous two camps. However, it is with your support that this becomes possible. Please ensure the next camp is a a source of positive action and hope for the future by donating!
